A 60-second high-energy product promo video combining live footage with custom motion graphics, driving a 28% boost in conversion rate for a SaaS startup.

Project Overview

A SaaS startup needed a product launch video that would grab attention on social media and their landing page.

The client was launching a project management tool aimed at small teams. They needed a compelling video that explained the product's value proposition in under 60 seconds while feeling energetic and modern.

I produced a hybrid video combining screen recordings, live-action B-roll, and custom motion graphics. The video was optimized for both landscape (YouTube/website) and vertical (Instagram Reels/Shorts) formats. It became the centerpiece of their launch campaign.

From raw footage to a polished promotional asset.

Script & Storyboard

Collaborated with the client on a tight 60-second script and created a shot-by-shot storyboard for client approval.

Asset Collection

Gathered screen recordings, stock B-roll footage, music tracks, and brand assets. Shot additional footage where needed.

Rough Cut & Motion Graphics

Assembled the rough timeline in Premiere Pro, then added kinetic typography, logo animations, and data visualizations in After Effects.

Color Grading & Audio

Applied a consistent color grade matching the brand palette. Designed a sound layer with voiceover, background music, and SFX.

Format Adaptation

Created 5 format variants: 16:9 for web, 9:16 for Reels/Shorts, 1:1 for LinkedIn, plus 15s and 30s teaser cuts.

Delivery & Optimization

Delivered in multiple resolutions, added captions for sound-off viewing, and provided thumbnail recommendations.
