A freelance UI/UX designer needed a portfolio website that matched the quality of their design work and helped them win more clients.
The client had been using Behance and Dribbble to showcase their work, but wanted a standalone website that felt premium and unique. They needed a platform that was easy to update, performed well on mobile, and loaded fast — all while looking visually stunning.
I built a custom WordPress theme using Elementor Pro, with a dark/gold design system, custom post types for portfolio items, a lightbox gallery, and a contact form integrated with email marketing. The site was optimized for Core Web Vitals from day one.

Optimized all images with WebP format, implemented lazy loading, minified CSS/JS, and set up caching with WP Rocket.
Integrated Rank Math SEO, set up Google Analytics 4, added Open Graph meta tags, and submitted XML sitemaps.
Migrated to production, configured Cloudflare CDN, tested across devices, and provided video training for content updates.
